Plant-life preservation is an important matter for all life-forms on this planet, including humans. They provide oxygen for us to breathe, and food for both humans and the animals we eat. Plant-life is being destroyed or harmed for many reasons but there a few easy steps you can take in order to help.

One big killer, specifically for ash trees, is a nasty little bugger called the Emerald Ash Borer. It has been found in many places across the US and it’s larvae will damage the parts of the tree that are responsible for the uptake of water, and also the nutrient transportation systems inside of the tree, both of which are vital to the tree’s life. You can help by informing your local DEC if you suspect you have Emerald Ash Borers, and also by not bringing wood across State lines.

Other easy steps to help plant-life preservation is to avoid the use of pesticides and other harmful products, and also by planting in areas which are conducive to life, ie: not planting too close to your home, road, or driveway, all of which will constrict the plant’s roots, eventually killing. You can also help conserve local plants if you avoid introducing invasive species into your area. You can talk with your local nature conservation programs for a list of these.

Gone are the days when trees surrounding the environment are being cut down like it is in the cities. It is always a wonder and a beautiful sight to see the tree leaves dancing to the wind as it blows it’s cool breeze on them and the birds, singing as they fly pass the trees and coming to land ever so gently on the leaves. Men and women these days have come to appreciate trees, planting more trees and seeing to it that trees are no longer cut down.Additional information can be found at http://benjamin-clark.com/2011/07/07/trees-r-us/. No matter the type, olive, oak, magnolia, maple etc, there is always something about a tree, it gives beauty to the environment. It serves as a shield and protection from the sun. It is medicinal, some herbs and teas are made from trees.
The beauty and importance of trees can not be over emphasized and you can help in so many ways to protect them like raking the grass around it to reduce the moisture and eliminate the growth of decaying organic materials, treating with a fungicide, getting a tree service expert to prune the tree regularly and protect it from diseases and reporting anyone cutting down a tree without a permit.
